Hey ya, I'm back from KL! ^_^

Coz it was purely a work trip, basically nothing exciting to blog about.  But hold on, I still manage to take pictures of the hotel and FOOD! Are you ready to be blast with lotza pictures? LOL

I stayed in Hilton KL for the past 2 weeks. Superb good location if you are considering a trip to KL. It is conveniently located next to SL Central station which is the interchange for KTM and Rapid Line, as well as the KLIA ( a 28min express train to the airport).

As you can see, it has a modern layout in the room with a very big bathroom, furnished with Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. To add on, the hotel has a very nice swimming pool with slide, a pity that I dun have the time to use the facilities. =(

I also received a complimentary spa from the hotel. The massage was not memorable but I guess it was a nice gesture from the hotel to pacify a unhappy customer.  LOL

Dinner at Yuzu, KLCC.  Dun be fooled by the pretty pictures in the menu, food was really small portion and passable. Oh, give that green tea tiramisu a miss, coz it was so bad that we left it untouched after a mouthful.

Dinner at Gastro, Hotel Le Meridian ( just next to Hilton).  Food was rather exotic here. Though we were really hungry and tired after a day work, we still cant finished the food. And ya, my colleague mentioned that the beef cheek somehow tasted like lamb. Weird food, really. *Shrugged*

Dinner at Iketeru, Hilton.  Our favorite resturant, we liked it so much that we went for a second visit. Food was on the higher end here and we almost "exhausted" all the cheaper stuff on the menu in our 2 visit.  Potato salad, grilled cod, teppanyaki mixed mushroom were loved.  Spider roll was nice for something staple and the chicken was okay. Probably can give the garlic rice and egg omelette a miss which were both pretty plain.

Dinner at Latest Recipe, Le Meridian.  It was nice to have warm complimentary bread from the resturant while we waited for dinner to be served.

Dinner at Little Penang, KLCC.  Finally, we got to eat some "local fare". Would have loved to try the real Malaysia street food if we had more time, but I guess, just have to made do here.

Dinner at KiKi, KLCC.  Taiwanese food at a very reasonable price ~ meal set ranges from RM20+ to RM30+.  Look at the table full of food! We really had a feast here. =)

Dessert at KLCC. Dun order that white kueh (bottom right)! At first, I thought it was zui kueh. However, it was served cold and was really hard and weird.

Lunch at Amarin, Mid Valley.  Husband was here for the weekend, yeah!  Finally, I can have non-hotel food and go gai gai. Keke.

Ordered beef and crayfish glass noodles while husband ate chicken fried rice. Haha. The beef was really good, of the right texture. Given 2 big crayfish though the glass noodles was kinda salty. Overall, still one of the better meals here.

Dinner at Madam Kwan's Mid Valley, also available at KLCC.  They are famous for their nasi lemak, so I had that, while husband ate the penang kueh tiao.  I find the nasi lemak quite normal leh, probably because I dun take chilli lah.

Miscellaneous food/snack that I had, including maggi mee. Keke
