Ho Ho Ho! It's Christmas time again! My favorite time of the year, filled with good food & holiday spirits! Hope you accomplish all you want in 2014 and well, if you haven't, there's always next year! LOL
Me bought tickets from Qoolo to visit Garden By The Bay with family. It costs $16.90 (adult fare) to visit both Cloud Dome & Flower Dome, slightly cheaper compared to buying from the official website. =)

Just came back from Taipei. For this trip, I signed up a package tour with Dynasty Agency all because of ..... Eva Hello Kitty plane. Aiya no lah, it was a family trip of 8 pax, travelling with agency would be more convenient mah.... #excuses
Normally, this Eva HK plane only goes to China, Korea, Japan, HK & Paris from Taipei, so how can I miss the chance to take this plane from Singapore! But then I had to sign up with a travel agency as this was a chartered arrangement with some of the travel agencies in Singapore. I still prefer to plan my own lah, so I intentionally chosen an itinerary that came with 2 days F&E. =)
Bye Peeps!

Hello Kitty Run 2014

Throwback to last last saturday when Hello Kitty Run 2014 was held at Sentosa!11:15:00 PM Unknown 0 Comments
There was really a lot a lot of people! And we were saying early morning at 7plus am on a Saturday!
This was probably the first run that I went where a lot of people "dressed up". Quite a number of girls were donned in tutu skirts and high socks; others put on Hello Kitty gears like spectacles and head bands. Guys were not spared! They came in the given Hello Kitty red top with Hello Kitty stickers tattoo. It was almost 'spectacular' that there were so many Hello Kitty fans out there, I felt so "at home" suddenly. Keke
It was not meant to be a competitive run, with the whole route less than 5km and probably less than 4km on the actual day, shortened by the bad weather. As I was at the earlier batch to start the race, I was not really affected by the rain and the hoo ha for the later batch of participants (not enough medal , drinks etc). Hopefully, all participants have received their medal by now and those who took extra, shame on you. Just thinking what's the point of getting the medals if you did not do the run, mine was now 'rotting' on my shelf after the run anyway. *Shrugged*
Trying damn hard to take pictures of Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel with my short arms amid the crowd. Not too bad an effort right?
Lotsa of photo stop along the way and everyone was just busy taking photo, who cares about the run? Keke
There was even a bubbles stop! There was suppose to be a beach party where there were more photo spots, fashion show and lucky draw to take close up pictures with Hello Kitty. I did not stay till the end lah coz we were hungry and wet, so we just took some pictures and seek 'refugee' at Sushi Tei.
The little medal that got a lot of people angry. =p
Rewards after the run - the medal, HK biscuit, Qoo can drink and e-cert!

I couldn't get my hands on the honey creme newly opened at Somerset because of the crazy winding queue.
So I got myself a Llao Llao yogurt, went home and took a nap. Woke up at 7pm and realised my weekend is over... >. <
Honey creme, I see you in Taipei lor. ..

Just collected my Hello Kitty Run Pack, was slightly disappointed with the tiny Plush Toy. Oh well, least the quality of the tshirt is good and it looked 'presentable' to wear it again after the run. Keke
My bib number is 13408, say hi to me if you see me!
Hubby collected the pack on my behalf and bought extra tshirt and towel for me. The towel is cute!

I just recalled I have yet to finish posting my Taipei trip in May. Totally forgot about it until I was browsing my own website. The sad part about growing older.... your memory capacity seems to shrink. I used to 'memorize' my geography textbook while watching TV, and I could still get 'A' for the subject. Now, I have problem remember what I had for dinner yesterday. >.<
Our friends were flying back to Singapore on Day 5, so no more over-ordering of food already. We were just going for quality food at decent portion and lotza of shopping!

Since I'm at the topic of Alive Museum, I thought I might as well post some photos of my visit to Alive Museum Korea when I went Jeju last year. This should give you a flavour of what to expect in Alive Museum Singapore without spoiling the fun!
The one at Jeju is the largest branch so far, which takes up about 43,000sqft of exhibition space.
