I'm retyping this post as I've accidentally deleted without saving a draft. *Facepalm* Oh well, let's do a short and sweet one then! =)
We were back at Sushi Airways for lunch!
The lunch set, priced at $15, is available all days, which is more affordable compared to the ala carte menu. Since Sushi Airways specialized in fresh sea food, our choice is obviously Bara Chirashi Sushi Set.
The seafood was fresh, but portion wise was a tab miserable. Can probably finish the bowl in less than 10 mouthful. Great for the office ladies, quality over quantity! Lol
On a positive note, it means more stomach space for dessert after lunch!
Ending off with a creamy green tea ice-cream.

Red Velvet Waffles - $14.90
While we were waiting for our lunch reservation at
Sushi Airways, we popped by Stateland which is in the vicinity. Well, who says that we cant have dessert before a proper meal? =p
The cafe is dainty and cozy, with a vintage industrial theme. It was actually quite relaxing to just sit around and spend the afternoon away. It seems like wasting time, but what's the rush? Well, I believe we should always make time to just do nothing. ^_^
Anyway back to the waffles! It was red velvet waffles and looked pretty with the pink meringue , berries & cream cheese dots. But hor, I preferred the waffles at
Oblong, where there is lotza cream cheese. Here, the waffles was just pretty but didnt quite leave an impression.

Final post of my bangkok trip~ Accomodation!
As both of us redeemed our air tickets, we decided to splurge on the accommodation. We spent approximately S$800+ for 4days 3 nights stay as there was a promotion for book 3 night get 1 free night, so it worked out to be $200+ per night. Seemed okay and I heard so much raving about W Hotel, so W Hotel in Bangkok is probably the most affordable one. Keke
Location is fantastic. We just need to cut through Sathorn Square which is directly linked to Chong Nonsi BTS, probably just 3- 5 mins walk. Mostly sheltered and accessible via escalator in the Sathorn Square Mall, so no need to climb stairs dragging those heavy luggage. Convenient or what?
Sharing some of the shopping places that I went. I bought most stuff from Union Mall, so I shall now declared it as my favourite mall in bangkok (last time it was Platinum Mall). ^______^
1) Chatuchak/ JJ Market
BTS: Mo Chit, Exit 1
Saturday and Sunday - 9am to 6pm; Friday - 6pm to 12am
Came here with a broken sandal and so my first purchase was a pair of slippers for just 50baht. Flip flop is still the most 'reliable' footware.
So big is this market that I NEVER ONCE try to cover the whole area. But if you want, do get a map at the entrance.
There are alleys leading to more lanes of mini stalls/shops. You probably need to bring 'gadgets' like mini fan, hat, shades to keep yourself cooling. I can never tahan the heat, coupled that the lanes are so cramped.
Let's make love, coffee and magic
