Wild Wild Wet

As part of my company's benefits, I got free Costa Sands chalet at Pasir Ris - a 4D3N stay.

The chalet is pretty old, I think I still prefer Downtown East. Oh well, but it was free so no complaints lah. The room still comes with the basis like TV, kettle, fridge etc. I must say the fridge is quite big, can put in a lot of stuff.  And they also helped us to change our towel everyday, like hotel service. Nice =)

Unexpectedly, I was also given entrance tickets to Wild Wild Wet @ Downtown East for 6 adults. Not bad huh? Keke

Out of goodwill, we gave away our extra 1 ticket to the first person in queue at the ticket counter.  Imagine the lucky person's look.  He looked so happy. Hey, we helped him to save $16 for 1 adult entrance ticket leh.

HK Food Galore!

11:08:00 PM Unknown 16 Comments

My HK trip started off with a good meal on Pacific Cathay flight. It would have been better if it was served in normal dinner timing, instead of 2am in the morning. Therefore, I shared the meal with my fren instead. Simply cant resist coz the stewed chicken rice smelt so good! Haha

And that precisely why we felt hungry after we reached HK and settled our check-in.  So, off we went for our first spot for dim sum ~ Banyan Garden @ Wesley Hotel

HK Sightseeing

1:42:00 AM Unknown 1 Comments

As we were in HK for only 3 full day, we only had 1 day to do sightseeing. Keke, coz we need to have 2 days for shopping mah =p

********

We started the day with Ngong Ping 360 which is located at Lautau Island. For directions , pricing and opening hours, please refer to its website.

I'm not a Buddhist, but I dun see the conflict of going to Ngong Ping as a tourist attraction place. In fact, it's quite interesting that they change the whole idea of a normal religious place. Quite cool huh?

The highlight of the day was of coz, the crystal cable car - A 360 degree soaring experience!

HK Shopping

12:29:00 PM Unknown 0 Comments

First shopping stop ->  Prada Outlet and Horizon Plaza ( located in the same estate)

Direction: Take MTR to Central Station and take Exit A.  Proceed to the bus interchange ( Exchange Square) by taking the overhead bridge to cross the road. From there, take bus number 590 to the bus terminal at Ap Lei Chau (last stop). The fare is HK$6.90.

Since it is basically first stop to last stop, there will be no mistake of alighting at the wrong stop. Easy rite? The ride was about 20 - 30minutes when I went there at about 10am, but the journey back to Central took about an hour because of traffic jam in the noon.
