Letter " J " : Jesus Christ who came to save man from their sins
Wide Red Stripes : Blood that Jesus shed on man's behalf. Jesus died for our sins, in order that He might bring us to God. He dies, was buried and was raised on the third day.
White Stripes : Jesus' virgin birth and His pure, sinless life. Though Jesus was tempted just as we are, He never sin.
Narrow Red Stripes : Jesus' stripes, or scars, which He got when He was arrested and whipped.
Peppermint Flavour : Similar to hyssop used in the old times for purification and sacrifice
