Tea Dot [Closed]
I finally went to Tampines 1, after it was opened for "donkey years". Haha, a bit exaggerating but I just cant make myself to travel from one end to another end just for another replicated shopping centre.
It is indeed, nothing fascinating except for a couple of newbies such as Uni Qlo. But it's quite cool for the shopping centre itself do have its own blog: http://tampines1.wordpress.com/
Other than that, I think it's just another shopping centre in the list for the East residents to hang around, other than the oreadi damn crowded Tampines Mall & Century Square. Haha
Ok, side tracked. =p
After dinner at Sushi Tei ( Oh my fav reasonable priced Jap Resturant), we proceeded to our next pit-stop!
Ya man.. Drinks & Desserts!
And we ended up at Tea Dot. Well it looked strangely empty on a Sunday night though..

The price was $2.80 because apparently there was a promotion to purchase the cakes at a cheaper rate when you ordered a regular drink. I cant remember the actual pricing, but should be more or less of the same price range as other coffee places.
The cake was jackfruit cheesecake. Unique but too thick for continuing pleasure. Haha
After a few spoonful, I kinda dun really enjoyed the cake anymore. The jackfruit aroma was too overwhelming that it totally tasted like jackfruit rather than a well blended cheesecake.
So yup, once bitten twice shy. =p

A all time favourite "safe" drink.
Perfect Match - $6.15

This was supposed to have a tinge of strawberry, but it tasted too much like normal milk tea. I had to "specifically" trace for it, if there was any....
Conclusion?
TeaDot is just another after-dinner hang around places. Nothing seriously wrong, and nothing impressive either.
Pricing wise is on a high end. I know la, Starbucks, Coffee Beans etc also charge similar rates. But com'on, we are paying for the brand name! Just like we are paying a super premium prices for LV, Gucci and Prada.
Erm, TeaDot? Just a new kid on the block. But the pricing above is based on regular size, quite a large cup actually. Alternatively, I would suggest to order the smallest possible size. Keke
