The Sister's Keeper

I just went to watch the movie " The Sister's Keeper", and I couldnt help but start to think what's exactly right and what's exactly wrong?

Is it right to ask your loved ones to give a part of themselves to you, even though it may mean inconvenience to them in the future?

Is it wrong for your loved ones to fight so hard to keep you alive, on the verge of breaking their own lives too?

I dun think it's a movie that soars your emotions up in an accelerating manner, such that you cry from the start till the very end of the show. Well, at least not for me.

Dun get me wrong, it's definitely a touching movie. Just that it's so brilliantly paced such that the storyline "invades" your heart bit by bit. You probably dint even realise it but yet, it leaves a lasting effect and you will still think about the movie after the show ends.

Besides that, each character also has his/her own strengths and weakness, rather than having the limelight only on the sick child. Every character is like "fighting" to draw your attention and keep you captivating throughout the 100mins....

The scene when the strong mother just broke down into tears, knowing very well it was time to let go
The scene when the unattended brother just blunted out the truth and bravely acknowledged the dying wish of his sister
********

Enuff say, I shan't reveal too much about the movie... Do try to catch the movie! Highly recommended...... by ME! =p
