Day 5 - Odori Park & Ramen Street

11:09:00 PM Unknown 2 Comments

Although it was turning dark, the "night" was still young!

We proceed to the Sapporo Underground Shopping Mall, where Blue Label, Agnes B etc lovers would find their beloved bags here. Since we had extended our stay at Tokyo, we decided not to do any shopping in Hokkaido. Instead, we went to visit the 62nd Sapporo Snow Festival, which was just at the Odori Park nearby.

Day 5 - Sapporo: Mount Okura & Ishiya White Chocolate Factory

12:10:00 AM Unknown 0 Comments

We were leaving the "rural area" of Hokkaido to the city, Sapporo. Goodbye to the vast white land and beautiful nature. I shall come again when you are all colourful, bright and sunny. ^_^

********
Toilet break, what will you do?

Hold on, dun need to tell me what you did in the toilet.. =_=

I dun understand why some people can spend so much time in the toilet. Usually we would chop chop and have some time to walk around the area. Guess what we did? We bought some snack and yup, that was just after breakfast. Keke

Day 4 - Abashiri & Lake Akan

1:00:00 AM Unknown 0 Comments

The day began with the guide asking whether we preferred good news or bad news.

Grrr... I had a bad feeling on this. Before the guide even said it out, I oreadi guessed it ~ the icebreaking cruise was canceled due to bad sea conditions and thin ice. I dunno whether the guide was trying to "console" us by saying that there were tour groups who went out to the sea but saw nothing except for drifted ice from far, so nothing to break.

Oh well, I was really disappointed coz the purpose of going Hokkaido during winter was because of the cruise. Otherwise, I would prefer to visit the place when it is all sunny and colourful with all sorts of flowers. I still feel a bit dejected now just to think of it, coz I wonder when will I ever visit Hokkaido in winter again.

And the good news? We got back 3000Yen for the unused service, which we spent it on snowy crab that cost 15000 Yen.

Updates!

12:14:00 AM Unknown 0 Comments

Hi people,

I made some amendment to the blog! Unless you are super cock eye, otherwise surely you know that now the content column is bigger. Keke

This will mean I can post bigger pictures! I think big pictures look nicer on the blog. However, not too sure whether it mean using up my picture storage faster... erm, many small pictures or less but bigger pictures? I cant decide and that's why I have a mixture of "X Large" & "Large" pictures currently... comments?

I have also removed one of the side column, so that it's slightly neater for your ease of reading,  I hope?

Finally, I added one more gadget => Popular posts! Wonder whether there's option for my personal favourite post. Oh well, that can always be done the manual way. Yup, I probably do that.. *scribbled down on checklist to do*

That's all folk! Hope that you will like the changes! \^.^/

Next program of the day - Kitanomori Ice Pavilion!

Quoted from the pamplet "It's the first world first ice museum, offering a magical experience inside a freezing, snowy and ice-covered world. The Ice Pavilion is constantly kept at -20C, with displays of icicles with the main highlight of a spot where you can experience -41C, the coldest temperature ever recorded in Japanese history"
